Telegram services are intended for sending messages, congratulations, and condolences. Depending on the customer’s wishes, the message may be sent a on an ordinary telegram form or thematically ted form.

Estonian Post Ltd. brokers telegram services provided by Elion Enterprises

Telegrams are received by post office cashiers or through the Elion paid telephone number 16115. Estonian Post Ltd. forwards telegrams to Elion to be sent. According to the customer’s wishes, telegrams are delivered by fax, telephone or mail. Two attempts are made to deliver the telegram by mail — on the date of receipt and on the third day.

Telegrams, which are not delivered to the addressee because the mailbox is broken, the addressee is unknown, etc., as well as, the telegrams that could not be delivered to the addressee on the second attempt, are returned to Elion Enterprises.

Speed

In theRepublic of Estonia, the delivery time for telegrams, is the workday following the day the telegram was sent.
Telegrams to be delivered that are transferred to Estonian Post Ltd. by Elion Enterprises before 9 am will be delivered to addressees in Tallinn on the same workday. The telegrams transferred before 5 pm will be delivered in Estonia on the following workday, and the telegrams transferred after 5 pm will be delivered on the workday after the subsequent workday.
International telegrams received by the post office will be sent by fax to Elion Enterprises, which will send them to the country of destination.
Telegrams addressed to foreign countries will be delivered according to international agreements—telegrams are delivered by mail, except for Russia, where telegrams are delivered to the addressees by telegram carriers.
